Condado histórico en el oeste de Inglaterra.

Se extendía desde la frontera con Gales hasta la zona industrial de los Midlands (tierras medias) y su capital era Worcester. El condado se formó en 1974 mediante la unión de los antiguos condados de Heredfordshire y Worcestershire. Sin embargo, en la década de 1990 se dividió nuevamente en condados de Herefordshire y Worcester. La región comprende llanuras bajas, la meseta del bosque de Dean, los Black Mountains, el valle de los ríos Severn y Avon y los Cotswolds. En ella se conservan restos de fortalezas normandas, monasterios benedictinos y una iglesia de convento en perfectas condiciones. La principal actividad económica del condado es la agricultura, y algo de industria pesada.
